Client Reviews and Feedback Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Purpose

Honest feedback helps us improve and helps others choose a legal professional. This policy explains how NEO asks for and uses reviews and feedback.

Asking for reviews

  1. We may ask a client once, after their matter is finished, whether they would share their experience on Google.
  2. We never offer payment, discounts or anything else in exchange for a review.
  3. We never write reviews ourselves, ask others to write them, or post reviews under false names.
  4. Clients are reminded not to include confidential details of their matter in a review.

Using reviews

  • Reviews are shown only as they were written, with the reviewer's consent where we quote them.
  • We don't present reviews as promises: every matter is different, and past results don't guarantee future outcomes.
  • Ratings and review counts are shown only if they are current and come from the real source.

Responding to reviews

We may thank a reviewer, or invite someone with a concern to contact us. We never reveal confidential information in a response, even to correct a critical review.

Other feedback

Clients can tell us how we did at any time by email or phone, or through our Client Complaints Policy if something went wrong.

The rules behind this policy

The Law Society of Ontario's Paralegal Rules of Conduct, including marketing and confidentiality, and our Marketing and Advertising Policy.

Review

This policy is reviewed at least once a year, and whenever the Law Society's By-Laws or rules change. The principal approves every change.
