Most NEO services have a fixed fee, published on our website. You know the cost of the work before it starts, and your retainer says exactly what it includes.

A fixed fee is a set price for a defined piece of work, such as drafting a demand letter or representing you at a hearing. You pay the same amount whether the work takes us more or less time than expected.

Our Services and prices page lists our services by practice area with their fees, and it reads our price list live, so it is always current. You can also estimate a matter with our Fee Calculator.
Your retainer agreement sets out the fee, what it includes and what it doesn't. If your matter changes and needs work outside that scope, we explain the cost and get your agreement first.
Some matters can't fairly be priced in advance. In those cases we use an hourly rate with a written estimate, or quote a fee in writing before starting.
