Same-day intake for urgent legal matters

Some legal problems can't wait: an eviction notice, a court deadline, a ticket with a date on it. For most matters, NEO offers same-day intake.

Legal deadlines can be short. A defence to a Small Claims Court claim is usually due 20 days after service. Some tribunal notices give even less time. If you have received a document with a date on it, don't wait.

How same-day intake works

  1. Call us or send a request through our contact page, with a photo or copy of the document you received.
  2. We review it to understand the deadline and what is at stake.
  3. We aim to connect you with a paralegal as quickly as possible, the same day for most matters, so the next step can be planned before time runs out.

What helps us move quickly

  • The document itself, including every page and any envelope or email showing when you received it.
  • Your contact details and the best time to reach you.
  • The names of the other people or businesses involved, so we can run a conflict check.

Please note

Signing a contract with a pen

Same-day intake means we start assessing your matter quickly. It doesn't mean every problem can be solved the same day, and we can't act for you until a conflict check is done and a retainer is signed. If a deadline has already passed, there may still be options, so contact us anyway.
