NEO is led by Mo. Farooqui, a paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario (licence P21785). You can check any paralegal's licence yourself in minutes.

In Ontario, only lawyers and licensed paralegals may provide legal services to the public, with limited exceptions. A paralegal licence from the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) means the person has completed an accredited education program, passed the licensing examination, and agreed to follow the Paralegal Rules of Conduct.

The Law Society's public directory lists every lawyer and paralegal licensed in Ontario, with their licence status. Search for "Farooqui" to see NEO's principal, or check any other representative before you hire them. Be cautious of anyone who offers legal representation but isn't listed.
Some matters, such as family law cases and most Superior Court claims, are outside a paralegal's scope. If your matter needs a lawyer, we will tell you at the start.
