Common questions
Do you ever charge by the hour?
Most services are quoted as a fixed fee. Our published hourly rate, $175 plus tax, applies to consultations and to work that does not fit a fixed fee, and we agree it with you before we start.
Are filing fees included?
Our price list says where a government fee is included (for example, new corporations include the registration fee). Otherwise, court and tribunal filing fees are additional unless stated, and the fee calculator shows estimated disbursements separately.
Is HST added?
Many services are shown as a fee plus tax, and 13% HST is added where it applies. The price list and the fee calculator show which.
How do I find the exact price for my matter?
Use the fee calculator for an estimate, or book the free intake and we will give you a written fee plan.
What if I am not sure what I need?
