The eight questions

  1. Do you have written evidence: contracts, receipts, photos, texts or emails?
  2. Do you have a clear, documented timeline?
  3. Are there witnesses who can confirm your account?
  4. Were the required notices properly served, such as an N4 notice or a demand letter?
  5. Is the amount clear, and under $50,000?
  6. Are you within the two-year limitation period?
  7. Have you tried to resolve it in writing?
  8. Do you know of strong defences the other side might raise?

It is a rough first view, not legal advice. Real cases depend on many details the questions can't capture. Use the results to see where your case needs work, then book a free consultation for a proper assessment.
